13 yr old got in trouble becasue of no touching rule…now…i know this has come up alot… but seriously the president of the PTA said it’s helps keep order….”Even high-fives can get out of hand. You get two boys in the hallway high fivein’ then their 3 friends wanna be there, Then a couple other kids join in then you got a traffic jam you got elbows flyin you got feet flyin, someone could get bonked in the head. they could get tripped we dont need it….”

LMAO yeah the last time i high fived someone feet were flyin like a mofo..this lady is nuts…you can just as easily drop your books on your head trying to put them in the top of your locker or hit yourself in the head opening your locker…or accidently trip someone by stepping on their laces…should we then propose cubbys no higher than 4 feet from the ground and eveyone must wear velcro shoes and helmets? Give me a break..What’s your take?

you are right, that is just stupid.
i think it will harm and not help the children, how can you grow to your full potential if you aren’t even allowed to positively physically touch a classmate. high-fives and back pats make everyone feel good.
